San Antonio Vacation Rentals
Spacious San Antonio Vacation Rentals
Having a good time is easy in San Antonio. Its friendly people, beautiful scenery and abundance of entertainment — from shopping to dining to art galleries to just exploring the River Walk — make it a vacation-worthy destination and a really nice place to wander around if you’re ditching a business convention for an hour … or maybe two. Either way, you’re going to need a place to call home for a few days. With a luxurious short term rental just steps from the River Walk and La Villita, Stay Alfred has you covered.
Aside from the Alamo, the Riverwalk is the attraction most associated with downtown San Antonio, and its beautiful walkways, set a story below street level under the shade of giant bald cypresses, are lined with an incredible array of shops and restaurants to explore. You’ll also want to check out the shops and restaurants of La Villita, a historic arts village that was settled nearly 300 years ago. Whatever you’re after in San Antonio, there’s a good chance you’ll find it downtown. Our St. Mary’s Street Street short term rental in the Agave building puts it all right at your doorstep.
Just south of downtown — and well within walking distance of your St. Mary’s Street Stay Alfred — lies San Antonio’s historic district. If you happen to find yourself in San Antonio on the first Friday of the month, you’ll definitely want to experience the art walk along Alamo Street. If you’re not, the Blue Star Arts Complex is a great place to ponder the meaning of contemporary art. Southtown also boasts many fabulous places to eat — from the casual dining of the Alamo Eats food truck court to the fancier fare of Azuca.
The Stay Alfred Experience
You’ve got options when it comes to choosing vacation or business travel accommodations. If you choose a hotel room, sure, you’ve got a roof over your head. Maybe some room service. But a living room to gather with friends and family for a movie before everyone drifts off to their own private bedroom? Probably not. And if you choose a typical vacation rental, it’s highly likely that you’ll have to put up with less than professional management. It’s also entirely possible that you’ll encounter something — or even someone — in the closet that you desperately wish you could un-see. Or perhaps teleport.
If you choose a Stay Alfred, you’ll enjoy luxurious, professionally managed accommodations that are spotless when you arrive and empty, save for a few essential household basics and tasteful, modern decor. Because you let yourself in, there’s never a wait at the front desk when all you want is to get out of your travel clothes. And because there’s a kitchen, you’ll have a place to show off your culinary skills with ingredients you picked up at the local farmers’ market. Located in the most amenity packed buildings in our cities’ most vibrant downtown neighborhoods, choosing a Stay Alfred is the kind of “I found it first” experience you’ll want to recommend to friends.
When travelers choose Stay Alfred, they know exactly what they’re getting. And what (thankfully) they’re not.

“This place has the perfect location for exploring San Antonio. The South exit is just steps away from the river. From there you can go north to the city Riverwalk or head the other direction into Southtown, a A funky little area with bars eateries and great architecture. There is easy on and off access to both interstates nearby.”
“Very clean and quiet condo. Would highly recommend staying here. Plenty of space for two couples. Within walking distance to Riverwalk and grocery store. Beautiful pool area, however, the pool is not heated. Great working with rental agency. Very quick response and detailed instructions for parking and apartment access”
“I found this place last minute on Hotels.com. We were going downtown to run a 5K race and needed a place close to where the run was starting. The location of this place could not have been better! It was easy to find and to check in (which is really on your own) was very simple. Parking garage was nice…”
