Luxuriate in our freshly laundered sheets, dry off with a fluffy towel, and pack light thanks to conveniences like a hair dryer, iron, in-unit laundry, and toiletries. And since the apartment is set within a peaceful, residential community, you’ll wake up refreshed and ready for a great day in the ATX.
Make memories at this community-focused building
Some travel apartments are set within sleek (but slightly sterile) buildings, but these units are part of a classic apartment community with welcoming public spaces and amenities that you’ll actually want to use. Revel in Austin’s fabulous weather at the outdoor pool, which sits within a sprawling pool deck lined with chaise lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a hot tub. Up a couple stairs from the pool is a BBQ area, which just begs you to plan a cookout with your travel companions. Leafy trees and a waterfall (as in the “Falls” on Bull Creek) surround the outdoor area, making it feel totally peaceful and zen-like.
In addition to the pool area, the main building offers a modern fitness center, which is available 24/7 for those late-night or early-morning exercise cravings (is there such a thing?). You’ll also find a stylish resident lounge furnished with armchairs, desks, and a cozy fireplace, plus a game room with arcade favorites where you can indulge your competitive side.
Our North Austin neighborhood is packed with highlights
Downtown and SoCo may be Austin’s chart-topping neighborhoods, but that doesn’t mean they’re the only spots worthy of a visit. About 20 minutes north of Downtown is the Spice Forest district, which has lots of local flavor, some fantastic shopping, and many tasty restaurants. There are also a slew of outdoor attractions, like the Lower Bull Creek Greenbelt and the North Cat Mountain Greenbelt, where you can hike, jog, or bike. If you follow Bull Creek all the way to the Colorado River (about 4 miles), you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of the iconic Pennybacker Bridge.
A visit to Spice Forest isn’t complete without spending some time at The Domain, one of Austin’s favorite retail and entertainment centers. This massive outdoor mall features a range of stores, from affordable brands to luxury boutiques, in addition to eateries like Culinary Dropout, North Italia, and Gloria's Latin Cuisine. There’s also a movie theater, an escape room, and a Whole Foods Market, so The Domain really has everything you could need. Looking for more retail therapy? Check out The Arboretum and Gateway, two more snazzy malls, which are within a 5-minute drive from Stay Alfred at Falls on Bull Creek
