Great apartment in a fantastic location
Posted on: 6/18/2015
The apartment was great. The building was posh, the view was astounding — we were able to watch a Friday noontime show from our balcony, and the views of the bay were mesmerizing. The kitchen was very serviceable and we were able to eat quite a few meals at the dining table which saved us time, money and energy since we have kids with us. There are a lot of restaurants as well as a convenience store within a very short walking distance. We also walked to Pike Market (about 0.5miles), the waterfront (2 very steep blocks down the hill) and the library right from the apt. It was great to be able to park the car in the basement garage and not have to worry about it for the duration of our stay. Do pay attention to where you leave the car, the parking lot is very confusing!

Ideal location, value, and comfort.
Posted on: 6/18/2015
We travelled for a family wedding, and included ages from 6 weeks to 66 years. Location is great, with lots of shopping and restaurants in the area, a pool for the kids (which we used) and a very good melding of hotel amenities and the spaciousness and feel of a home. (close to pike’s place market) We didn’t do any cooking, but the units are set to accommodate it. Parking is kind of difficult to figure out, as are the elevators, since this complex occupies a block of severely sloping land. But right across from the aquarium, the pier with the ferris wheel, and all of the Seattle nightlife. Stay Alfred, the managers, are very well organized.

Wonderful view!
Posted on: 6/18/2015
Loved the view and the closeness to great places. The venue where we performed was two blocks away. Found the concierge helpful and appreciated that the parking area that went right to room level. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. When we asked for more towels we got them right away. Pools and fitness rooms were also wonderful and the fact that you did not have to go through the lobby was considerate. When we found we had left something at the rental Diane could not have been more helpful. However, the rental did not have enough overhead and lamp light. When the sun went down it was impossible to find a good place to read. Also, it took days for my kindle and my son’s laptop to get wifi and calling did not seem to help. All in all I loved the experience and would not hesitate to return the next time we have a performance in Seattle.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback! It sounds like a few more lights a new wi-fi router are in order! Let us know next time you’re in town, so we can give you a 5-star experience!

Views of the ferry docks and Harbor Island are incredible
Posted on: 6/18/2015
We stayed for a week in 1205 Ne–what a great place! The views of the ferry docks and Harbor Island are incredible, as well as looking down to the stadiums. And talk about access to everything! Metro tunnel 1 block east, Pike Place Market 2 blocks north–fabulous! And the condo had everything and was very comfortable–would love to stay there again!

When booking this apartment, a downtown location was all I was hoping for, but we arrived and opened the blinds, Viola! Puget Sound and the Great Wheel were our view for our six day stay. Across the street the Seattle art Museum, (a local clued us in on the free admission Thursdays), two blocks down Pike’s Place Market, one block behind us walk to an amazing view on the Great Wheel and so much more. As to the apartment itself, it was perfect for the six of us. Plenty of room, the concierges could not have been more helpful. From scooter receiving,(father-in-law required use of a scooter from a local rental group), parking directions and dining recommendations they met us every time with a smile. I am looking forward to returning to Seattle and staying here again!

Best location in Seattle for sights!
Posted on: 12/12/2014
The unit was exceptionatly clean. Super Target with grocery store only 3 blocks away. Great for couples or family rental. Great view from the balcony. Within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Good mix of resturants nearby. If you are coming from Sec-tac,take the lite-link rail. It’s only $2.50 per head and gets you too the University station in 35 minutes, which is 2 blocks from the unit verses $35 to $40 by cab. The following comments are not a deal breaker. Unit could use some safety strips in the bath tub as the water drains very slow during showers and tub becomes slippery. Burners on the stove are not the ones for this stove. They sit up high and at an angle making creative adjustments with pots and pans. My guess is the manufacturer no longer makes parts for this unit, so they had to put in something that works. I was able to adjust and use the stove and would rent this unit again.

Our Stay
Posted on: 6/18/2015
We enjoyed our stay immensely at Harbor Steps! Absolutely the perfect location, close to Pike Place, great restaurants, even the little market at Harbor Steps. Glad we didn’t rent a car, really didn’t need one. Accommodations were wonderful. Glad you had box fans in the unit, otherwise it would have been a little stuffy on some days. Only thing that would have made it better is one additional television in the unit, and perhaps the carpeting could be cleaner–lots of spots. Other than that, perfect! We absolutely loved the view, and sat on our porch each morning enjoying our coffee and overlooking Puget Sound. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Harbor Steps was incredible
Posted on: 4/28/2016
Our stay at Harbor Steps was incredible. Not just the view, which alone would have been worth it, but we were only minutes to Pikes Place Market! We discovered a concert being held on one of the nights we were there and it was at the Benaroya Hall, 2 blocks from where we were staying! Access to the condo and parking was so simple. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will definitely stay there again!!

I loved the Stayalfred app!
Posted on: 3/31/2016
“The alfred Harbor Steps was a great location for all of Seattle’s sights. We were one couple and one single adult. We walked to Pike Street Market almost everyday and the well equipped kitchen was great for cooking the seafood goodies we got there. The condo was roomy for three people and the bathrooms were huge.Great views! Good restaurants within fifty feet of the door and good recommendations from the stayalfred app. The cost was less than half of the hotels in the area so a great value too.

Cute & convenient
Posted on: 4/27/2016
This unit was located on the Garden level of the Harbor Steps apartment and Inn, so no harbor view, but it was quiet. We took this trip with my in-laws who were in their 60s and they easily could walk to all our destinations (the Market, the Ferris wheel, Pioneer Square). We took the amtrak up from Portland and this unit was steps away from the light-rail station (University Station) and was easy to find. The four of us comfortably fit in this one-bedroom. The in-laws were very pleased with how comfortable the king-sized bed was. Even the sleeper sofa bed was comfortable! The bathroom was spacious with a double vanity, a very nice two-person tub and a large separate shower. We didn’t make good use of the fully equipped kitchen but it had everything (even a wine bottle opener!). The concierge was helpful in recommending places to eat and gave the in-laws a copy of the downtown walking map. The building also had activities some nights out of the week (karaoke and movie night) so if you wanted to partake in that you could. We’ve already told all our friends about this place and they all want to stay there the next time they’re in Seattle!

Awesome place to stay. Much better than staying at a hotel.
Posted on: 6/18/2015
My wife, daughter, my parents, and I all stayed at Unit 720 of the SW Harbor Steps tower for 5 nights. It was an awesome place to stay. Much better than staying at a hotel. This particular unit was over 1200 sq ft in size. The unit is configured with 2BA 2BR. One of the bedrooms has a full size private bathroom. Kitchen was very nice with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Spacious living/dining area with walkout patio. There is a washer/dryer combination in a closet. The bedrooms were fully furnished with linens, blankets, pillows, clothes hangers. The bathrooms were fully furnished with towels, bath mat, and toilet paper. The living/dining area was fully furnished with two couch/futons, end tables, lamps, rug, flat screen TV, cable box, DVD player, cable modem, wireless router. The kitchen was fully furnished with full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, and sink. Counter tops were granite. The cabinets held large/small plates, cups, glasses, silverware, and utensils for about 6.When we arrived the concierge knew the routine and handed us the keys to the unit and parking card key. Quick and painless. It took us a bit to figure out the parking garage. As once you enter the garage, which is under the tower complex, a person can get disoriented pretty fast. We also found the elevators pretty confusing at first, as some elevators go from the underground parking up to 6th floor, and no higher. Where some other elevators go from parking all the way up to the highest floors. After we figured out the elevators, it was not a problem. The unit was clean and spotless when we arrived. Everything was in order. During our entire stay, we only found a single item that the cleaning crew missed: the dryer vent filter was completely clogged. I sent an email to Alfred’s regarding that oversight, so hopefully it will be addressed in the future. Like I say, everything else was clean and spotless and in perfect order. It appeared that on 7th floor of the SW tower, Alfred’s rents units 718 and 720. The pool is directly below on 6th floor. So we simply used the stairwell right next to our unit to go down one floor and use the pool. We stayed in unit 720. The website says water view. I guess there is a water view of maybe 20 degrees. So don’t expect a gorgeous water view. It doesn’t look like Alfred’s charges any more for the minimalistic water view unit than the other units. However we did not stay at Harbor Steps for the view, but rather the location, location, location. May of the major sights were within just a few blocks, an easy walk. I don’t think you could have stayed in a hotel and been any closer to the major sights. Seriously. In closing, I would highly recommend staying at Harbor Steps apartments with Alfred’s. Our extended family had a very enjoyable stay. In our situation we actually saved money by staying here renting a 2 BA 2 BR unit verses having to stay at 2 smaller rooms at a hotel. Also we saved money by cooking our own breakfast meals and an occasional dinner with food purchased at the local Pike’s Market :-)

Downtown Location close to Pikes
Posted on: 6/18/2015
Great location for our family of 5. They have several properties in the building, we stayed in 603 with a waterview. It was great. It wasn’t the fanciest we’ve stayed in, but it was very nice. Had wifi which was nice. Never used the stacked washer and dryer as we were only there for a few days, looked smaller though. I would certainly recommend to friends.

Very nice, comfortable condo in a perfect location

Our interaction with alfred’s was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the rental process very easy. The staff at the desk when we arrived was not very helpful. We followed their directions to the parking garage and ended up going thru two garages before getting to the correct one.The location was perfect. We could walk to Pikes Market and the wharf and there were restaurants and bistros right out our door.

Stayed at the Harbor Steps for 7 days with my family, absolutely loved it. Lots do do, art museum, Pikes, and the Ye Ole Curiosity shop is just a few blocks away, the kids loved it. The rooms was spacious and comfortable. The views were awesome! Kitchen could have been a little better stocked. The service was great.

I stayed here with my wife and two friends. We loved the place. Very roomy with nice furniture. The location was perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk to Pike’s Market and a short cab to the Spaceneedle, EMP, and Chihuly museum. Would recommend it to anyone.

Awesome property, close to Pike Place! and amazing customer service
Posted on: 4/23/2015
I really can’t say enough about how great the Stay Alfred experience was for me. The rental was AMAZEBALLS, the customer service from the Stay Alfred staff was outstandingly good and the location of the property is a stone’s throw from Pike Place Market. WOW. I would stay at a Stay Alfred property again in a heartbeat. It’s rare to find such excellence in any company – they should be the go-to company for how to “get it right”.

Spent a few nights at Harbor Steps apartments through Stay Alfred. It was a 2 bedroom that was perfect for me, my 2 daughters and friend with her daughter. We all loved the view of the Ferris wheel, pool and that Pike Place Market was a few blocks away. It was a fantastic location so close to everything in the heart of the city.Stay Alfed was excellent with booking and they have an app which was extremely helpful.

Perfect location

This is the second time we have rented from Stay Alfred. The Check-in, Check-out are easy and the apartment was well appointed. A view of the water, the ferris wheel and the activity below. So close to Pikes Market, restaurants, theater, comedy that you can walk everywhere. I won’t hesitate to rent again!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We are very glad to heard that your stay went smoothly and that you were able to enjoy all the attractions of Seattle. We look forward to hosting you in the future!

Great location downtown
Posted on: 7/16/2015
Loved our condo in Seattle it’s in a great location, right in the heart of downtown and overlooking the water. All very clean and comfortable, also great facilities in the building with gym, pool, outdoor deck etc. The only thing I would comment is that there wasn’t any air con so we had the fans blasting as it was a hot weekend, but other than that would definitely stay there again.
Thank you for letting us know about your time in Seattle! We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Give us a call next time you are in town and we’ll ensure a 5-star experience.

Lovely apartment in great location
Posted on: 7/16/2015
Fabulous view from the apartment which is nicely appointed and very comfortable for two couples. Located near to many tourist attractions. In general Seattle lacks AC and so does the apartment. However there are fans and portable AC units. Really appreciated having a washer dryer.
Thank you very much for leaving us a review. We are glad that you enjoyed your time in Seattle and we look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Very nice location
Posted on: 3/27/2016
The location was really great. Harbor Steps was right in the heart of everything! The apartment was well furnish, and the kitchen was clean and very nice. Our unit’s views overlooked the bay and the Seattle Great Wheel. We enjoyed our stay there and would come back again. Tip or warning: The place only has heat and no built-in air conditioning. This may not usually be a problem, since Seattle has moderate temperature. But this summer Seattle has been warm. To be fair, they did provide a floor air conditioner that you vent out the window. We opened up during the day when we were home and were comfortable. But at night, being in the city, if you open the window for air, or venting the air conditioner, there is a great deal of noise. Also the air conditioner took up so much space we could not walk around the bed. Otherwise, a great value for the area.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry about the lack of A/C during the Seattle heat wave and we hope that it did not cause too much trouble during your stay. Please let us know next time you come to town, and we’ll give you a 5-star experience!

Great Location & Value
Posted on: 10/24/2015
Stayed with my wife and family of 3 older kids. Cannot beat the location adjacent to Pike and within walking distance of most everything. Great value for price. Well furnished and maintained. Not really harbor view on the 11th floor- adjacent building blocked the view. They need to address one thing- apartment can be warm. It was in the 80’s and the apartment has a western view. Very hot and stuffy in the afternoon and evening. They need to invest in better blinds. Provided portable AC units very cumbersome, popped the breakers and are not easily put in place. Slept with windows open- a lot of outside noise from the highway. Still a great place.
Thank you very much for letting us know about your stay with us! We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us despite the issues you experienced. We hope that you will consider staying with us again so we can provide you with a 5-star experience!

Great apartment in perfect location.

I spent two nights at Pike Place HSW with my husband and two children, ages 7 & 10. The apartment had all the amenities we needed and had a great view of the Seattle Waterfront. Location was perfect, walking distance to Pike’s Market, the stadium (we were in town for a soccer game) and a quick monorail ride to the Space Needle. Kids enjoyed the pool. We’d definitely stay again.

I heart Seattle!
Posted on: 4/7/2016
I had never been to Seattle, so when the thought of traveling during the Thanksgiving week came up, I thought why not? I started looking on TA for an apartment to rent for the week, and this two bedroom wasn’t that much more than a one bedroom, and it would be nice not to sleep on a sofa sleeper. We were given a unit on the 14th floor that faced Puget Sound and it was perfect! Two good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. Each had their own thermostat for heat which was nice. Large living room and a fully functional kitchen if that’s what you needed to do. We just had breakfast in the morning, except for that one evening we brought home a gigantic pizza from the Italian Family Pizza across the street. We used the washer and dryer which came in handy. My favorite part of the whole stay was going to the Three Girls Bakery at 6:30 and bringing home some tasty baked goods. Then sitting on the couch with coffee and watching the sun come up on the bay. We were lucky. There was only one day of rain, so we lucked out. This property is centrally located and the Metrolink to SeaTac was only a block away. Everything else we walked to, like Chinatown, Pike’s, and the Needle, and the bus system was easy to navigate which we used to go up to Capital Hill. I would definitely stay here again when I come back.

Great location.

We stayed four days, six adults and found the apartment comfortable. Definitely a great location. Only problem was trying to get the pull out sofa bed out (brand new and strapped). We had a very hard time trying to get a response for sheets, a blanket and pillows for it.

Great condo/Great location

I wanted to move in for good.
Posted on: 4/28/2016
Loved staying here! The location was terrific for business travel, the apartment had great views and amenities. Downtown Seattle does not have the best restaurants but plenty of good options and good proximity to some more interesting neighborhoods. I unpacked my suitcase and settled in. I didn’t want to leave at the end of the trip! The only recommendations I would make are as follows: a tv station guide would have come in handy, also the blinds were really hard to operate which made privacy a challenge given the proximity of the other buildings. Overall I look forward to using Stay Alfred again! I’d definitely consider this location again for business travel, and might look into other locations if traveling for pleasure.

The location of this property cannot be beat if you are looking to “experience” Seattle and all it has to offer. Steps away from the harbor, Pike’s Place, Ferries to the islands, and a few short blocks to the best shopping, restaurants and amazing coffee cafes. The property is nothing but class and sophistication! The concierges are professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Very easy to see myself living happily at Harbor Place!Throughout the reservation process the representatives of Stay-Alfred were not merely courteous, knowledgeable, and patient; they made me feel as if I were a family member coming for a visit. The contracting process and frequent e-reminders and offers to address any questions were very much appreciated as my check-in date approached.Upon check-in I experienced a major disappointment. The apartment I was assigned was perhaps the least desirable in the entire building; small, dark and in the basement next to the gym (not the most aromatically pleasant). NOT at all what I or my wife were expecting. I immediately called Stay-Alfred, shared my situation and the representative instantly acknowledged my concern and exclaimed that he would take care of it and asked if I could hold for a few minutes. In less than five minutes he told me that there was another unit available and I should proceed to the concierge for the key to the new apartment.Well, needless to say upon opening the door and walking into the new unit my wife and I were transformed into George and Weezie Jefferson and had “moved on up to the East side to that Dee-Lux apartment in the sky!” The harbor, the Ferris wheel, ferries and all the beauty of the Sound were our front porch. The accommodations were spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for relaxing, decompressing and doing a little work. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING way to experience Seattle and Stay-Alfred. They truly out did themselves in helping me.But, the story doesn’t end there. During our stay the DC area experienced one of its most severe blizzards and our flight was cancelled, only to be re-booked three days later! What were we to do? We couldn’t be “Homeless in Seattle.” Stay -Alfred to the rescue. As could be expected, I was treated like a family member who desperately needed a place to lay his weary head for a few days. They completely understood and though our wonderful “harbor-view” unit was no longer available, another unit was ready for us to move in.Am I a fan and “True-Believer” in Stay-Alfred? What do u you think!?! 😉
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your honest feedback. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Seattle and that we were able to provide you with the customer service you deserve! Please let us know when you’re in the city next and we’ll ensure that you receive another 5-star experience. We hope to have the privilege of hosting you again.

Excellent big apartment central in downtown Seattle. Spacy, clean, good beds. A very good alternative to hotels.

Very nice place. The location is close to everything. We had no problems during our stay. No problem with parking .

There is no better place to stay.

The view was awesome! We could see the Seattle Ferris Wheel and the Ferry Terminal. Everything was clean and comfortable (beds, couches, chairs). I was unsure of the entire process of getting the keys but I got perfect detailed instructions. We did not visit the building amenities but my guess is they were great too. This is a perfect place to stay in Seattle. I will try Stay Alfred in other cities too.

Excellent place to stay for business or with kids of any age

Hi! Sometimes when you’re travelling a lot, you begin to crave more space and functionality than the standard hotel or even kitchen/suite can offer. Stay Alfred has played a huge part of my family’s solution to the question of where we’ll stay when we travel to the hearts of American cities. With so many locations to choose from, it’s hard to find any reason to stay anywhere else.In February, 2016, we stayed in the lovely Harbor Steps in Seattle. It’s located in an enviable position overlooking Seattle’s thriving harbor and city center near the active Pike Place Market. Every detail was perfect for our stay, and we had a wonderful time.We can certainly recommend this place for any reason you have to visit Seattle, whether for business or pleasure. This location is suitable for many people in different situations and easily becomes a “home away from home” where you can shop and live and eat in comfortable and pleasing surroundings. You will accomplish a lot when you are living in such a well-planned location and all your needs are taken care of, much better than in the hotel next door, I’m sure. The views are amazing, and it’s across from the Seattle Art Museum, with art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, markets and shopping nearby.

This is my first time in a vacation rental. I was so amazed at how beautiful this property was as soon as I entered the apartment. They view was breathtaking from the balcony. The apartment had everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and the washer and dryer made it complete! Definitely coming back again!

Ideal and safe location for Seattle water views, city walking, ferry, and attractions

We enjoyed a lovely, clean apartment with beautiful views of the Puget Sound, the Great Wheel, and shipyards. Working with Stay Alfred was a breeze, we had all the information and instructions we needed to have a seamless stay in this quiet, well-kept and friendly building. We walked nearly everywhere–Pike Place was 2 blocks, the Ferry 5 minutes, the Needle and Chihuly Museum 15 minutes, and multiple restaurants and shops as close as the front door of the building. The Seattle Art Museum is across the street. When we did use Uber, drivers knew Harbor Steps so there was never any confusion. At the end of the day, we looked forward to returning to a relaxing, comfortable living room with cable TV and plenty of space. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom, comfortable beds and plenty of clean towels. We mostly ate our meals out by choice, if we wanted to cook, the kitchen was well-appointed and well-stocked with cleaning supplies( laundry and bathroom supplies too). A welcome basket of snacks and tea/coffee was a nice touch–we dove into that upon arrival after a long day of flying. I don’t have anything negative to say, this was a great place to stay while exploring Seattle for the first time and I would definitely rent this space again.

Booked 13 nights for my visiting parents & they enjoyed their stay immensely. The 2-bedroom unit at Harbor Steps was quiet, secure & had a great view of the Sound. They did a fair amount of cooking & the kitchen had all they needed. The location was very convenient & the price was reasonable, though it was off-season. Interactions with the Stay Alfred staff (via phone) were excellent & informative, given you don’t receive confirmation on which particular unit you’ll be in until 3 days before your arrival, though my preference was accommodated. SA staff was very helpful & reassuring after a misstep on our part during check-out.Wi-Fi worked fine, though there appeared to be no digital HD TV service (TV’s in all rooms with basic cable worked fine).Excellent experience overall.

Great location with amenities to match!

Great Condo. Great Location. Great View. Loved the restaurants below. Condo was clean, quiet and appreciated the gift basket.

Good location & view, nice building and unit, but not deluxe

Great location – convenient parking for one car underground (extra fee but reasonable as rates in the area go). Unit has great view (though may not last forever with other construction in the area). Reasonably furnished, tasteful, clean, etc. Master bedroom great view, nice closets and bath. 2nd bedroom pretty small but functional. Missed some of the personal / thoughtful touches you’d find in a personal rental, but was fine. Common areas nice, but pool was shallow, Jacuzzi out of commission. Large fitness center (quite new) with a moderate array of equipment. Good value overall.

I visited Seattle because my daughter studies in SU. I was with my sister and nephew while my daughter used to come overnight. What else do you need In Seattle: spacious bedrooms, living with an american kitchen, awesome view, parking, walking distance to pike place market. Simply I will always stay there whenever I visit Seattle

Great location to walk many places!

My husband and our two boys (11 & 13) just stayed here this past week. We were only there for three nights, and sad to leave it! We walked to Pike Place market several times and were just about ten minutes to the ferry to Bainbridge. The view from the condo was nice, and had it been warmer (and not raining) we would have really enjoyed the balcony. It was so nice to take a short walk to the market and pick up fresh fish and produce to make fabulous dinners in! We will definitely book again if we ever end up in Seattle!

We loved this vacation rental right in the center of Seattle. We were on 16th floor and had fantastic water views. The place was large enough for our family of five the kids of course loved the elevator and the swimming pool. Stay Alfred was super to work with and I would definitely use them again.

Centrally located with 24 hour consierge which was very helpful! Parking a bit confusing but not a problem at all. Great unit with incredible views of the harbor. Clean, efficient and well appointed unit.

Comfortable, quiet, and spacious condo.

My husband and I and our two teenagers stayed at the Harbor Steps condo at 1201 1st Avenue, Seattle, for 3 nights in late March. It was a great location for walking around the waterfront and downtown. We were 5 minutes walk away from Pike Place Market, the Argosy cruise line and Elliott’s Oyster House. The condo itself, a 2 bedroom apartment, was comfortable and we had a beautiful view of Puget Sound and the Ferris wheel from our 12th floor windows and balcony. The condo was nicely appointed and included hotel amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap, as well as laundry and dish soap, coffee, bottled water, etc. And the bedrooms were separate from each other and quiet. The bathrooms were both spacious and clean. In many ways we preferred the condo vacation stay to a hotel stay because it seemed more private. We didn’t have to leave to get the room cleaned or spend a lot on tipping hotel staff. Would highly recommend this condo to others.

Great Location

This location is amazing. Super close to the Market, to the steps down to the waterfront, lots of good restaurant and bar options. It’s 1.5 blocks from the University light rail station and only a few blocks from the mall and the monorail station.

Amazing location and amenities

We loved our stay at the Harbor Steps. The location was amazing, we were able to walk to the market, great restaurants and the SAM was right across the street. The common areas are clean and well maintained. Our unit had a fabulous layout and view of the Sound. It did seem to have some deferred maintenance; vertical blinds were broken and laid out in the closet, one of the towel bars was hanging by a thread and there was evidence of water staining on the walls outside of both showers. The kitchen was minimally furnished but worked well for us. There’s a coffee maker but no filters so we bought some, so now the unit should be stocked for a while! The check-in process was easy, i was provided with very clear instructions. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Great Location to Explore

Great location a block downhill from University Link Station. Market was two blocks away via Post Alley also a block from Bainbridge shuttle, aquarium and Ferris Wheel. We were a family of 6 teenagers to 10 year olds. We had no need for a car such a great city for walking and public transportation. Access to apartment was just as communicated. They did stick to a 3pm check-in so we planned accordingly. Pool was emptied in our tower but we had access to other towers facilities. Only slight complaint was there were only 4 towels in the unit and no backup paper products like TP or trash bags. Would stay again.

Very accommodating…

I requested an early check-in (usual time is 3pm) because my husband has dementia and needed a place to rest. I called the day of arrival to request an early check-in. The manager arranged to have the suite cleaned out immediately and texted me within an hour with good news. We were able to check in soon after we landed. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Location is great! View was awesome.

Comfy apartment in a great location!

This apartment was perfect for our sisters weekend! It was clean and very comfortable. The beds were nice, bathrooms were big, living room was perfect size and the balcony and view were an added bonus. Location was awesome. Just a short walk to Pikes Market and other tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great Building and very friendly staff!
Posted on: 4/20/2016
Very nice, clean and modern apartment. Kitchen, two bathrooms and more space than you would get in a hotel. We were four people and had a much better time than we would have in a hotel, since we cooked together and could hang around in the living room with a great view on the harbor. Location is great as well, lots of things to see are within walking distance. There is friendly staff on-site, but they are not affiliated with Stay Alfred, so in case of any issues, you might need to to contact Stay Alfred via phone or e-mail.

What a view!!

Great place to stay. Amazingly quiet for a condo in the middle of downtown Seattle, easy access to; restaurants, Seattle Art Museum, Pike’s Place Market, Bainbridge Island Ferry, pretty much all of Seattle within footsteps. If you stay in Harbor Steps you don’t need a car just bring your walking shoes. Our rental had a great view of the Sound and islands beyond, we all loved it.

Amazing – why stay at a hotel?
Posted on: 4/23/2016
This place is in an amazing location, great amenities, and spacious. For less than a hotel room I had a two bedroom condo with two baths and a full kitchen. The views out onto the Puget Sounds were amazing. I’ll stay here everytime I’m in Seattle. Checkin and checkout was easier than any hotel.

Best place to stay in downtown Seattle

We have stayed at Harbor Steps three different times in three different buildings. Great experience every time. So centrally located you can walk anywhere; Pikes Market, Triple Door, Westlake Center and public transportation is right out your door. The light rail is a block away. The condos are comfortable and well appointed. Swimming pool & fitness are handy and easy to use. Parking is available. It’s out Go-To place!
